Gentili utenti,

comunichiamo l'apertura del sistema di calcolo XCRESCO installato presso 
il Centro di Ricerche di Frascati.

Il Cluster consta di 60 nodi con le seguenti caratteristiche hardware:
Processors: 2x16 cores IBM POWER9 AC922 at 2.6(3.1) GHz
Accelerators: 4 x NVIDIA Volta V100 GPUs/node, Nvlink 2.0, 16GB
Cores: 32 cores/node, Hyperthreading x4
RAM: 256 GB/node (242 usable)
Peak Performance: about 1.9 Pflop/s, 32 TFlops per node
Internal Network: Mellanox IB EDR  100Gb/s
Disk Space: 140TB usable NFS storage.
I nodi sono installati con un sistema operativo Alma Linux 9.2, 
filesystem AFS ed un'area scratch NFS montata via ip over ib, mentre il 
gestore delle risorse è SLURM.

In questa fase di preproduzione saranno resi disponibili i 2 nodi di 
frontend ed 8 nodi di calcolo.

In this pre-production phase the 2 frontend nodes and 8 compute nodes
