In previsione del fermo CRESCO della settimana dal 20/01/2025 al 24/01/2025, si precisa che per lo spostamento dati dal filesystem LUSTRE di CRESCO7 si suggerisce di utilizzare come appoggio primario lo spazio utente riservato nel filesystem GPFS, avente quota di default di 200GB per le aree store, e secondariamente il filesystem AFS qualora lo spazio già a disposizione sia sufficiente.

NON verranno prese in considerazione richieste di creazione di nuovi volumi remoti AFS su Portici con finalità di backup dei dati provenienti dal filesystem lustre.

In anticipation of the CRESCO shutdown of the week from 20/01/2025 to 24/01/2025, We would like to point out that for moving data from the CRESCO7 LUSTRE filesystem, it is recommended to use the user space reserved in the GPFS filesystem as primary support, with a default quota of 200GB for the store areas, and secondarily the AFS filesystem if the space already available is sufficient. .

Requests for the creation of new AFS remote volumes on Portici for the purpose of backing up data from the LUSTRE filesystem will NOT be considered.
